Gabrielle

Gabrielle means "the messenger". Anand, in Sanskrit, means joy, bliss and blessings. She lives in Mallorca with her little black cat Bibi, and feels she has now found a deep sense of achievement.
After studying at the IFM, the Institute of Fashion in Paris, Gabrielle followed her passion for fashion and mostly for Chanel, working for the maison. Her passion for unique craftsmanship and mostly for textiles brought her to fall in love with Indian weaving techniques and fabrics, eventually creating her own successful ready-to-wear brand. She defines Kundalini as a magic way to the Self, to the Spiritual Awakening that passes through the body to transform it, as the darkness turns into light, the faith into destiny.

What do you have for breakfast in the morning?

Celery juice; a while later, coffee, savoury breakfast as much as I can when I get the time!

What is the first thing you do every morning to start your day the best way?

I drink a huge glass of water and I take a cold shower, dry brush before. It activates the circulation and awakens the body, mind and spirit! Then I do some warm ups and according to the time I can give to my personal practice, I do between 20 min to 1h practice.

What would you write on a billboard in the centre of your city?

KIND REMINDER, YOU ARE LOVED.

Do you have rituals that help you feel more confident with yourself?

My personal practice and getting ready in the morning allows me to tune in my emotional state and balance it with an outfit in which I feel good, comfortable, elegant and radiant. Journaling is one of the tools that channels a lot of my emotions in the morning.

What comes to your mind when you think of the word ‘success’?

Yellow and gold energy, joy, the sun, sharing, expansion, acceptance and allowing, being able to receive.

If you were invited to speak at a conference and you didn't have to talk about your work, what would you talk about?

Values, how to connect with our people and truly share who we are authentically. How to be able to receive and give while feeling deeply aligned, grounded and with a feeling of being recharged.

Is there anything you believe in that other people find crazy?

I speak to plants, trees, animals, and spirits.

What human characteristic most appeals to you?

Sensitive, intuitive, grounded.

Do you tend to choose courage or comfort?

Courage.

If you could change your job for a day, what would you become?

A herbalist making potions or an alchemist, a ceramist or an architect.

Do you have any favourite podcasts? Which ones would you suggest?

I listen a lot to Louise Hay, to the French Philosopher Fabrice Midal about hyper sensibility and about astrology I listen to Cosmic_navigator, Gahl Sassoon.

Describe your practice in three words.

Connect, Relax, Regenerate.
