What do you have for breakfast in the morning?

My favourite time of the day is breakfast. I always try to organise myself so that I can have a good half-hour to devote to it. I drink a cappuccino, which is essential for me, and I eat bread and jam or bread and Nutella. I could have healthier habits but breakfast for me is free!

What is the first thing you do every morning to start your day the best way?

Having a good breakfast and taking the time to read something interesting, looking on Pinterest for inspiration for the day, and listening to music. These are all daily gestures that I need to start the day off right.

What would you write on a billboard in the centre of your city?

At this moment in my life I would write - Believe in your dreams - I need to have faith in my desires and my abilities so I need inspiration to accompany me to believe, really believe.

Do you have rituals that help you feel more confident with yourself?

Tarot cards, stones, amulets, candles, magical objects that I trust and draw energy from. I like to perform small magic rituals in moments of tiredness, difficulty and confusion, when I feel the need to find the right intention.

Contentment with oneself, recognition of one's worth and abilities.

If you were invited to speak at a conference and you didn't have to talk about your work, what would you talk about?

I would talk about my family, which is so unique. I am the second of five children, each with a particular path. From my family I learnt unity, emotional connection, but also independence and individuality. It's like having lived in a small society of my own and I think it's a background that has influenced my life a lot.

Is there anything you believe in that other people find crazy?

Magic, I believe in magical powers, mythological beings, gods and energies that coexist and influence our existence. I am often mocked by friends and acquaintances but I believe in it, always have.

What human characteristic most appeals to you?

Sensitivity. On the bodily side I see it in the quality and perception of movement, and on the emotional side I recognise it in empathy.

Three people you would invite for dinner if you had the chance and why.

Joseph Pilates, because in addition to his discipline, I am very fascinated by his path and intuition. Vivian Maier, 20th century photographer, to discover the feeling of "art for art's sake", and I would invite Sylvie Guillem, one of the greatest dancers in history, revolutionising the aesthetics and perception of the dancer.

Do you tend to choose courage or comfort?

I have always chosen and will always choose courage.

Describe your practice in three words.

Fluidity, awareness, intensity.
