Giorgia

The practice of Yoga has always accompanied her, until she decided to deepen the technique with a training course. Becoming a yoga teacher was not her plan until she realised she could express her truest side by leading a yoga class and helping precious souls connect together. Giorgia sees herself as a free soul in a human being, made of water and dreams whose mission is to share the infinite expressions of existence. "You can call me Onda".

What do you have for breakfast in the morning?

I usually have a coffee with some fruits mixed with granola and honey. My favourite breakfast is in summer because I prepare açai bowls and I'm totally in love with its fresh and creamy taste.

What is the first thing you do every morning to start your day the best way?

I smile at myself in the mirror. Something special happens, the smile becomes bigger the more I see myself.

What would you write on a billboard in the centre of your city?

Pause, breathe, you got this.

Do you have rituals that help you feel more confident with yourself?

I love to make a cup of hot water during the night, right before going to sleep.

What comes to your mind when you think of the word ‘success’?

For me there is no real success if you're not happy about what you're doing. Success is the final step, is the goal, is the motivation that brings you to work hard, to push yourself beyond your limits. Is the acceptance of all the difficulties that can and will occur with the self knowledge that everything is necessary in order to grow.

If you were invited to speak at a conference and you didn't have to talk about your work, what would you talk about?

I would like to talk about places in the world that I don't know. I love to travel and to really understand and live other cultures. I'm attracted to Orient, because of its wise population and way of living. I like to listen to how people tell about journeys they have taken, I like to capture the emotions they have experienced, and also I love to share my thoughts.

Is there anything you believe in that other people find crazy?

I do believe in energy, and if you're not attracted by the world of yoga or some other kind of holistic spheres, you probably won't believe in it. I'm completely okay with it, everybody has a crazy part inside, right?

What human characteristic most appeals to you?

I love generosity, respect and gratitude. I love truth and sincerity. I love transparency and deepness.

Three people you would invite for dinner if you had the chance and why.

So, If I had the chance, I would invite: Daniel Lumera, writer and gentle soul, he is the creator of My life design, a method based on the conscious drawing of one's life in a formative pathway. He speaks of trust, justice and forgiveness and so many deep values in his projects and his nonprofits organisations. This deep and intense path of personal research is combined with meditation for which he is considered an international reference. I would love to listen to him talking, reflecting and thinking. Sadhguru, a yogi and profound mystic of our times, is a visionary humanitarian and a prominent spiritual leader. A contemporary Guru, rooted as strongly in mundane and pragmatic matters as he is in inner experience and wisdom, Sadhguru works tirelessly towards the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of all. He's a poet and a very good chef, I would love to taste his recipes and listen to his life lessons. Sah D’Simone, a spiritual revolutionary and best-selling author, pioneering a Spiritually Sassy, heart-based healing movement in which joy and authenticity illuminate the path to enlightenment. He is a spiritual leader close to everyone in his or her spontaneous way of being. I would love to make one of his very fancy and funny videos that always hide an important message he wants to share.

Do you tend to choose courage or comfort?

Courage.

If you could change your job for a day, what would you become?

Sure a DJ!

Do you have any favourite podcasts? Which ones would you suggest?

Actually I'm listening to Mark Groves Podcast and I really recommend it, you can find him on Spotify.

Describe your practice in three words.

Body, mind, energy.
